Job summary

Spinner Medical Recruitment in Australia seeks a senior Rehabilitation Medicine physician to lead inpatient and ambulatory care at Rockhampton Hospital, providing expert opinions and contributing to patient flow and bed capacity management.

You will supervise Registrars, PHOs, and House Officers, and teach medical students, while driving multidisciplinary leadership and CPD activities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hold Fellowship of the Australian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FAFRM).
• Provide high-quality inpatient and ambulatory rehabilitation care.
• Lead and participate in multidisciplinary teams and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Hold FAFRM Fellowship and provide high-quality inpatient and ambulatory clinical care in rehabilitation medicine.
• Provide expert opinion in ED when required and participate in patient flow and bed capacity management.
• Provide clinical supervision for Registrars, PHOs, and House Officers, as well as teaching medical students.
• Demonstrate first-class communication, conflict resolution, and multidisciplinary leadership skills.
• Participate in research, continuous quality improvement, and college-mandated CPD.

Geriatric and Rehabilitation Services (GARS) operates from a purpose-built 16-bed interdisciplinary facility providing inpatient, ambulatory, and outreach care across the designated region.
