Job summary

WorkFocus Australia is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to join our multidisciplinary allied health team. You will conduct initial assessments, identify RTW barriers and design programs to help injured employees return to work, across community, home and workplace settings.

You will liaise with clients, insurers and medical practitioners, deliver targeted RTW strategies, and support career progression with structured mentorship and development opportunities across Australia.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in one of the listed professions.
• Willingness to travel with a current vehicle and driver's licence.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Good time management and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and identify RTW barriers and design/implement/monitor programs that assist injured employees return to the workforce
• Undertaking assessments including activities of daily living, home, worksite, functional, ergonomic, equipment assessments
• Identifying Return to Work (RTW) barriers
• Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve outcomes appropriate for all parties
• Develop and implement strategies to progress files and achieve RTW benchmarks with minimum case costs
• Designing, implementing and monitoring programs that assist injured employees to return to the workforce

What you'll bring to the role

• Australian recognised degree qualification and full Accreditation in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, Chiropractic, Osteopathy or Physiotherapy
• Willingness to travel (A current vehicle and drivers licence is required)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service
• A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
