In this role, you will be assisting individuals in recovering from injury and returning to work, using a client-centered approach focused on health and well-being. You will manage a portfolio of cases, primarily including WorkCover QLD claims, while building and maintaining relationships with employers and other stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, you must have your own proprietary limited ABN.

As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play an integral role in supporting clients through their recovery journey. You’ll guide them step-by-step, undertaking assessments such as initial needs assessments, worksite evaluations, and vocational assessments, all aimed at helping clients overcome barriers and return to work.

You will collaborate closely with employers, medical professionals, and allied health specialists, applying your clinical judgment to document case notes and ensure comprehensive reporting. The role is ideal for someone who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and is committed to maintaining high standards of excellence while contributing to regional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide rehabilitation services to individuals recovering from injury and support their return to work.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of cases of WorkCover QLD claims.
  • Conduct a range of assessments including needs assessments, worksite evaluations, and vocational assessments.
  • Collaborate with employers, medical professionals, and allied health teams to support clients through their recovery.
  • Identify and address barriers preventing clients from returning to work.
  • Keep detailed case notes and documentation as part of your reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders in the region.
  • Work independently with support available when needed.

About You We are looking for like-minded professionals that share our passion about connecting with and helping others feel their best again. Your excellent communication skills, integrity and positive attitude make you a valued team member. This role is for you if you enjoy working with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for injured people, and you also have:

  • At least 4 years of experience in Occupational Rehabilitation, specifically with WorkCover QLD.
  • A background in Rehabilitation Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, or Psychology.
  • Experience managing workers compensation claims (this is a must.)
  • A Pty Ltd ABN for contracting purposes.
