Job summary

Konekt is seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant to support clients recovering from injury or illness, guiding them through recovery, return to work and wellness. You’ll collaborate with workplaces, healthcare providers and insurers to design tailored rehabilitation plans and monitor progress for sustainable outcomes.

A genuine commitment to client-centered care, empathy and strong communication is essential, with registration requirements as noted.

Qualifications

• Registration with regulatory bodies (AHPRA/ASORC/AASW) is required or expected.
• Provisional AHPRA registration acceptable for the role.
• Relevant tertiary degree in health or social care fields.

Responsibilities

• Assess rehabilitation needs following injury or illness using clinical disciplines.
• Provide advice on workplace modification and return-to-work processes.
• Co-design and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans with clients.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans for sustainable outcomes.
• Coordinate with workplaces, healthcare providers and insurers to support recovery.

Every day, people recovering from injury or illness need support and guidance to take important steps forward. As a Rehabilitation Consultant with Konekt, you’ll walk alongside clients as they navigate recovery, return to work and return to wellness - helping them to reconnect with what matters most.

Expect your day to be full of variety and real impact where you’ll:

• Assess clients’ rehabilitation needs following injury or illness throughphysical, ergonomic, psychosocial or functional capacity evaluations (based on your clinical discipline)
• Provide expert advice around work-place modification and the return-to-work process
• Support clients to define meaningful recovery or employment goals, then co-design and deliver tailored rehabilitation plans
• Monitor progress, adjust plans to support sustainable outcomes
• Manage cases end-to-end: coordinate and collaborate with multiple stakeholders from workplaces/employers,healthcare providers, treating practitioners andinsurers. Be an integral partof the shared goal of recovery and reintegration

What you’ll bring

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work
• Registration with AHPRA (Provisional is fine), ASORC (Full membership)or AASW
• Pass a national criminal check, prior to commencing employment
• A WWCC (Working with children check)
• Full Australian working rights
• A driver’s licence and willingness to work in different settings (workplaces, client homes, remote-onsite assessments)
• The ability to coordinate across stakeholders
• A collaborative, problem-solving mindset, accompanied by professionalism and integrity
