Job summary

The Department of Government Services (DGS) in Victoria seeks an Adviser, Regulatory Strategy and Governance to lead the development and monitoring of regulatory priorities and enforcement policies. You will manage governance functions and contribute to policy shaping across CAV operations.

Qualifications

Regulatory frameworks applied to strategy and policy.
Experience in leading projects and programs to achieve organisational goals.

Responsibilities

Manage development of the CAV regulatory programs and priorities, develop and draft reports on CAV’s performance.
Undertake research and analysis, draft and manage policy implementations to support compliance and enforcement.
Oversee governance functions such as committee secretariat, internal reviews of warnings and infringements, and exhibit management.
Draft high-quality policies, reports, submissions, briefings, correspondence, and media content in line with internal standards.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships within the team and with internal and external stakeholders.
