Job summary

Fitzgerald Jenkins Recruitment seeks a Regulatory Reporting Manager for a 12 month contract in Sydney. The role focuses on governance of regulatory reporting and driving changes aligned with APRA requirements.

You will prepare APRA submissions and support ICAAP/stress testing while coordinating with finance and non-finance stakeholders. The ideal candidate is CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years bank experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and full Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• CA / CPA qualified preferred.
• 3+ years direct experience within a bank with exposure to Australian regulatory reporting / APRA guidelines.
• Ability to work in a professional team and manage competing demands from finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• High analytical ability and clear communication of project needs from a finance perspective to internal and external stakeholders locally, regionally and internationally.
• Experience contributing to project deliverables.
• Full Australian working rights & fluent English skills.
• Knowledge of Financial Markets / Institutional lending products would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Finance Manager to oversee the regulatory reporting governance framework for the Bank and its operating subsidiaries and document key processes.
• Transformation; Project work to implement changes to regulatory reporting (Prudential Standards changes or applicability changes to the Bank).
• Prepare and lodge APRA monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory reporting via APRA D2A and APRA Connect.
• Monitor timely and complete submissions for each period end and report resubmissions or breaches to management.
• Assist the CFO / CRO / Senior Manager in preparing ICAAP and stress testing obligations and monitoring of the Bank’s capital position.
• Support key deliverables on Finance Transformation Projects.

12 month contract opportunity for a CA/CPAqualified regulatory reporting specialist to join a high performing Finance & Project team within a leading bank.

You will have a proven track record of improving process, redesigning reporting guidelines and managing a variety of competing demands and stakeholders.
