Job summary

Medrecruit is seeking a locum medical practitioner to cover a metropolitan hospital in New South Wales from 3 August to 23 October 2026. The role requires PGY4+ and current AHPRA registration.

Shifts include afternoons, evenings, nights and weekends; rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes and casual loading where applicable. Applicants must be available for all shifts during the assignment.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
• Locum cover for a major metropolitan hospital in NSW.
• Preference for PGY4+ with flexibility for all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care during locum period to cover holiday leave.
• Collaborate with hospital teams to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.
• Document and communicate patient progress and handovers.
