Mindplace Townsville, part of Bupa, seeks an experienced Registered/Clinical Psychologist for a permanent Part-time role (3 days a week). You will see Bupa customers and others, delivering patient-facing clinical care in a supportive mental health environment.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapies while coordinating with external providers and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualificações

• Registered/Clinical Psychologist with general registration in Australia.
• Minimum of five years clinical experience in mental health services.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client relationships.

We are looking for an experienced Registered/Clinical Psychologist in practice at Townsville and have a permanent Full or Part time 3 days a week position available.

As a Psychologist at Mindplace, you’ll be a pivotal part of our team, shaping the future of mental health services with Bupa. This role is a patient-facing clinical position where you will be seeing Bupa customers and others who wish to utilise the Bupa services. This is an opportunity to drive meaningful change and innovate new ways to support mental health journeys throughout Australia.

In this role, you’ll:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and provide evidence-based therapies
• Develop personalised treatment plans based on assessments and patient needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans
• Build and sustain collaborative relationships with referring healthcare providers to strengthen patient referral networks and support practice growth
• Coordinate with external providers to fulfil service requests within an established procedural framework

About you

We’re seeking an experienced Registered / Clinical Psychologist with:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology or a Master’s/Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.
• General Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
• 5+ years of recent clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.

• Advanced clinical expertise in mental health services.
• Experience delivering high-quality care and fostering innovation in service delivery.
