Job summary

Family Doctor Pty Ltd is hiring two part-time Registered Nurses to join our busy general practice team. The role requires current AHPRA registration and experience in a fast-paced GP or primary health setting.

You will perform immunisations, procedure assistance, wound dressing and stock management while delivering quality care to patients with diverse needs. Autonomy, strong communication, and teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration is mandatory.
• Experience in busy General Practice or primary health settings is preferred.
• Ability to perform all general practice nursing duties and support patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer immunisations and assist procedures.
• Dressing wounds and wound care management.
• Stock ordering and inventory control.
• Maintain reminder/recall systems for patient care.
• Deliver quality patient care to diverse and complex patient groups.

Family Doctor are looking for two Part-time Registered Nurses to join our team.

About the role:

• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Background working in a busy General Practice and/or primary health setting.
• Experience in Chronic Disease Management and Health Assessments (an advantage).
• The ability to perform all general practice nurse duties, such as immunisations, procedure assistance, wound dressing, stock ordering, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care to people with complex needs or persons that come from a range of backgrounds and age demographics.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with the skills to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage within a workplace setting with fluctuating levels of demand.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to responds to patients' needs in a friendly manner.
• A team focus and flexible approach to work.
• The ability to manage reminder and recall systems effectively.
• Experience with Best Practice and software platforms such as Cubiko, HotDoc, Automed (an advantage).
