Job summary

Calvary Health Care is seeking motivated and experienced Anaesthetic Nurses to join the Perioperative Suite at Calvary Adelaide Hospital. This fast-paced environment exposes you to a broad range of specialties and provides opportunities to contribute to exceptional patient care.

Qualified applicants will have a minimum 3 years’ perioperative nursing experience with a focus on anaesthetics and current AHPRA registration. Postgraduate anaesthetics qualifications are valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Perioperative Nursing with a focus on Anaesthetics.
• Postgraduate qualifications in Anaesthetics are highly regarded but not essential.
• Strong clinical knowledge and good decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Support coordination of care and uphold clinical standards.
• Maintain accountability for delegated care responsibilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and teamwork.

About the role

Calvary Health Care is seeking motivated and experienced Anaesthetic Nurses to join the dynamic Perioperative Suite at Calvary Adelaide Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a fast-paced and highly specialised environment committed to clinical excellence, innovation and patient-centred care.

Our Perioperative Suite features 20 theatres and procedural areas, providing exposure to a broad range of specialties including:

Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Robotics, ENT and Paediatrics

We are looking for passionate and adaptable nurses who thrive in a collaborative team environment and are committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes
• Contribute to the coordination of care and support best practice clinical standards
• Maintain accountability for professional practice and delegated care responsibilities
• Support a culture of continuous improvement, learning and teamwork

About You

• Current AHPRA registration
