Job summary

Tannum Family Practice is seeking an enthusiastic Registered Nurse (RN) or Enrolled Nurse (EN) to join our collaborative team in a modern, patient-centred care setting.

Join a supportive group of GPs and nurses with Monday–Friday shifts, flexible rostering, and a focus on preventative health and excellent patient outcomes. Training and development are available within a stable community practice.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
• Current CPR certificate.
• COVID-19 vaccination status as per healthcare requirements.
• Professional Indemnity Insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Genuine passion for patient care.
• Experience with Best Practice software is advantageous; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Chronic Condition Management (Care Plans & Reviews).
• Health Assessments.
• Immunisations (Childhood, Adult and Travel).
• Wound management.
• ECGs, Spirometry and Ear Syringing.
• Assisting with minor procedures.
• Patient education and preventative healthcare.
• Cold Chain Management.
• Infection prevention and control.
• General treatment room nursing.
