Job summary

The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our medical wards and departments across units such as Oncology, Immunology and adolescent care.

You will provide holistic assessments, develop individualised care plans, and deliver family-centred care while supporting junior staff and students. A commitment to ongoing CPD/PPP and paediatric nursing experience is highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the NMBA via APHRA.
• Commitment to ongoing CPD/PPP with up-to-date evidence.
• Experience in Paediatric or Surgical Nursing is highly regarded.

• Kookaburra – Oncology and Haematology care


• Kelpie – Adolescent, oncology and rehab


• Wombat – Immunology, haematology, endocrinology and rehab

Classification for this position with range from YP3 - YP9 (FTE Base salary, pro rata for part time, plus superannuation)

What You’ll Bring to the Role:

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) administered though the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)


• Demonstrated dedication to continuous development, evidenced in an up‑to‑date CPD/PPP


• Whilst not essential, recent experience in Paediatric Nursing or Surgical Nursing is highly regarded
