Job summary

UnitingCare Buderim Private Hospital on the Sunshine Coast seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Theatre Scrub/Scout team. You will provide safe, holistic care for patients undergoing procedures, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality surgical care.

The role requires a Bachelor of Nursing, current AHPRA registration, and minimum 2 years Scrub/Scout post-graduate experience, with orthopaedic exposure and the flexibility to work all shifts.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate Scrub/Scout experience required.
• Orthopaedic experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent and current AHPRA registration are essential.
• Demonstrated adaptability, resilience and ability to work across shifts.
• Strong commitment to the hospital mission and patient-centred care.
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety practices is required.
• Willingness to obtain vaccinations and clearances as per hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Employment Term: Permanent Full Time, Part Time or Casual Opportunities Available

• Location: Buderim Private Hospital, Sunshine Coast, QLD

• Remuneration: $42.50 - $54.62 p/hr + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our Buderim Hospital team

As part of our Theatre team, you will accountable for the provision of safe and holistic care to individuals undergoing a range of procedures, applying best clinical practice and ensuring a safe environment for optimal patient outcomes. You’ll deliver exceptional person-centred care by working collaboratively with your multidisciplinary Theatre team, applying exceptional communication and team work skills.
