Job summary

Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District is seeking Permanent Relief Pool nurses to provide flexible, secure support across Shellharbour Hospital. PRP offers variety across clinical areas and the chance to work with multiple teams as the organisation grows toward a new hospital.

Eligibility includes current AHPRA registration and a minimum of one year of full-time postgraduate practice. Roles are based at Shellharbour Hospital on the NSW South Coast with a defined close date of 27 September

Qualifications

  • Registered nurse with current AHPRA registration.
  • Experience in acute care or varied clinical areas preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time postgraduate employment.

Shellharbour Hospital is a busy acute care facility which provides emergency services, elective surgical services, general medicine, antenatal and primary family health care, satellite renal dialysis, and adolescent and adult mental health services on site. It's an accredited healthcare facility with the Australian Council on Health Care Standards (ACHS) and is recognised as providing a high standard of care to the community.

Located on the beautiful South Coast of NSW, Shellharbour is known for its spectacular coastal scenery and is only a little over a 1.5 hour drive from Sydney.
