Click here for details and contact the enquires person for further informationThe opportunityAs a Scrub-Scout Nurse, you'll be at the heart of the operating theatre, supporting surgical teams to deliver safe, high-quality care to women, babies, children and young people. You'll join a collaborative Perioperative team within South Australia's leading specialist hospital for paediatric and women's health, working across diverse and rewarding surgical specialties while contributing to outstanding patient outcomes.Key duties of the roleProvide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care, ensuring optimal outcomes for patients and their families throughout the surgical journeyFunction effectively as a Scrub-Scout Nurse within a multidisciplinary surgical team, supporting a range of paediatric, neonatal, gynaecological and specialist proceduresCollaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists and allied health professionals to deliver evidence-based, patient-centred careSupport and contribute to a culture of clinical excellence through continuous learning, professional development and quality improvement activitiesMentor and support students, graduates and colleagues, contributing to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team environmentSkills and experienceRegistered Nurse with current NMBA registration, or eligibility to obtain registration and a practising certificateDemonstrated nursing experience in a perioperative or acute healthcare setting; perioperative and-or paediatric experience is required with a minimum of two years Scrub Scout experienceStrong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary teamAbility to prioritise workload and respond with flexibility, initiative and sound clinical judgement in a dynamic environmentCommitment to delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred care and contributing to continuous quality improvement activitiesPostgraduate qualifications in perioperative nursing and proficiency in using clinical information systems are desirableEnquiries can be directed toJulie Hocking, Nurse Manager -Stay connected with us!
