Job summary

PRP Diagnostic Imaging at Norwest Private Hospital is seeking a current Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent part-time basis, three days per week. The role focuses on cannulation, injections, and assisting radiology and nuclear medicine staff to deliver high-quality imaging services.

You will work within a supportive environment, with exposure to CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray procedures, contributing to safe patient care and continuous professional development.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Nurse in Australia with cannulation experience.
• Experience in hospital environment.
• Experience in sterile interventional procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with patients and colleagues.
• Knowledge of ECG interpretation or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist Radiographer, Sonographer and Nuclear Medicine Technologists in imaging procedures.
• Perform injections, cannulation, biopsies, stress testing and cardiac monitoring.
• Collaborate with team to maintain high patient care standards.

About the Position

Our practice at our Norwest Private Hospital offers a wide range of imaging services including CT, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound and X-Ray. You will assist our Radiographer, Sonographer and Nuclear Medicine Technologists performa range of imaging procedures including injections, biopsies, cannulation, stress testing and cardiac monitoring. You will be working closely with all our team to ensure we maintain our high standards for patient care in accordance with our values and principles at PRP Diagnostic Imaging. About You

You must be a current Registered Nurse with experience of cannulation and have a reputation for providing high quality patient care.

You will have also have:

• Ability to instruct staff with emergency trolley and procedures
• Experience within a hospital environment
• Experience in sterile interventional procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to build and maintain good relationships with patients and colleagues
• Knowledge of ECG performance and cardiac rhythm interpretation (or willingness to learn)
