Job summary

Cabrini Health in Melbourne’s southeast is seeking Registered Nurses for PACU and/or anaesthetics roles. The positions offer exposure to a state-of-the-art perioperative environment with advanced technology and a diverse case mix.

We value experience in anaesthetics or PACU, plus current AHPRA registration. A postgraduate perioperative/c critical care certificate is preferred, with flexible work arrangements and strong career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Previous Anaesthetics or PACU nursing experience.
• Postgraduate certificate or equivalent in critical care or perioperative nursing (preferred).
• Victorian Working with Children Check (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in PACU and/or theatre anaesthetics settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary perioperative team to optimise patient outcomes.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs during perioperative care.
• Ensure safety, documentation and infection-control standards are upheld.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous Anaesthetics/PACU nurse experience
• Relevant Nursing Qualifications and current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse
• Victorian Working with Children Check (if applicable)
• Post graduate certificate or equivalent in critical care or perioperative nursing (preferred)
• Commitment to quality patient care and outcomes
• Flexibility and a positive attitude
• Attention to detail
• Enthusiasm for participation in a team environment
• Excellent customer service focus and communication skills
