SCCQ are looking for a full-time Registered Nurse to join our highly skilled compassionate care team working at Castra Residential Aged Care in Murgon. Based in the beautiful South Burnett Region of Southeast Queensland, Murgon is located one hour drive west of the thriving rural service center of Gympie. About the role

In this role, you'll demonstrate expertise in contemporary clinical practice, sharing your knowledge of the highest standards in person centred care through delivery of advanced clinical and holistic care to our residents.

As an integral member of our care team, you will work under the leadership of experienced Managers whilst providing support and supervision to your team members. You will champion a strong teamwork approach to resident’s care and liaise with medical practitioners, family and other multi-disciplinary team members ensuring excellence in personalised care. Most importantly, compassion and empathy accompany your clinical talent, alongside building relationships with our residents based on dignity and respect.

What will you bring to the role?

• You will be aRegistered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in Aged Care and a knowledge of chronic conditions, palliative and dementia care.
• Strong clinical focus in assessing, planning and implementing client care.
• Demonstrated skills in care planning and evaluation documentation.
• Demonstrated competence in medication management and clinical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• You enjoy working in a team environment.
• You are dedicated to caring for older people to live their best lives.
