Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking applications for Registered Nurses to join us in a mixture of full-time and part‑time roles. Based at our Springfield campus, these roles will be part of a landmark moment in Queensland healthcare at Mater Hospital Springfield — opening early 2026. This state of the art facility will meet the needs of the growing Greater Springfield region. With a mix of public and private beds across ICU, maternity, emergency and medical, surgical services, it’s set to care for over 200,000 patients annually.

Salary range: $41.74 - $53.53 per hour plus superannuation and access to not‑for‑profit salary packaging up to $15,900+ access to many staff benefits!

What you’ll be doing

The Registered Nurse performs all aspects of Nursing care including patient advocacy with particular consideration to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of each patient in a safe, efficient and patient‑focussed manner contributing to optimal patient outcomes.

About you

You will have a minimum of 12 months full time experience in the relevant area as a Registered Nurse:

  • Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
  • Considerable demonstrated experience in the area in which you are applying for
  • High level skills in problem‑solving, communication, coordination and time management
  • The ability to contribute effectively and efficiently within a busy, multidisciplinary team environment
  • While not essential, applicants who currently have or are studying towards a tertiary qualification within the relevant clinical speciality would be highly regarded
