The APHRA Registered Nurse, will be a valued member of the Medical Ward 2/HAB (Higher Acuity Beds) team. Medical Ward 2 is a 21-bed mixed medical specialising in Cardiology, Respiratory and Endocrine patients within the Medicine and Cancer services Division. There are 4 High Acuity beds and currently preparing to provide Telemetry monitoring for the Medicine Division.

  • Demonstrates a person and family centred approach to decision making and care planning activities.
  • Ability to work as a team member within a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of and the ability to practice within a quality and risk management framework.
  • Able to describe and demonstrate the utilisation of evidence-based practice into own practice.
  • Australian Citizen, permanent resident, or holder of valid working rights in Australia. Sponsorship is not available for this position. While financial relocation assistance is not provided, eligible candidates may be referred to the Welcome Experience program for practical settlement support when relocating to the region.
