ACT Health’s North Canberra Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse Level 3 Grade 1 – Breast Care Nurse for a full-time, temporary seven-month placement with potential extension or permanency. You will deliver expert nursing care and coordinate oncology support for people affected by breast cancer.

About the Role:

Join the ACT Breast Care Nurse Service in this temporary opportunity commencing February 2027 and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people affected by breast cancer.

The Breast Care Nurse provides expert specialist nursing care, support and advocacy for patients throughout their cancer journey. Working across public and private healthcare settings in the ACT and surrounding regions, this role is responsible for the assessment, planning, coordination and evaluation of complex oncology care to achieve best-practice outcomes.

As part of a dedicated and highly regarded team, you will contribute across the Five Domains of Clinical Practice, providing supportive, coordinated and collaborative care while delivering education, information and clinical leadership. You will also have the opportunity to participate in research activities that help shape and improve cancer care services and outcomes for people diagnosed with breast cancer.
