Job summary

Family Doctor Burrum Street Medical Practice in Bundaberg West, QLD is seeking a Registered Nurse (Full time or Part time) to join a supportive team of doctors, nurses and admin staff.

The role focuses on general practice nursing and skin procedural care, with emphasis on patient education, initiative and strong communication. Access to mentorship, CPD and career development is available within a GP network.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration is required.
• Experience in busy General Practice or primary health setting is preferred.
• Experience in Skin Procedural/Excision clinics is desirable.
• Ability to perform immunisations, wound care, sterilisation, and stock ordering.

Responsibilities

• Provide immunisations, wound dressing, sterilisation and stock ordering.
• Manage reminder/recall systems effectively.
• Deliver quality patient care to diverse patient groups.
• Assist in skin procedures and general practice nursing duties.
