Job Description

Join Epworth Geelong as a Registered Nurse within our General Medical/Neuroscience Ward and become part of a supportive, patient-focused team dedicated to delivering exceptional care.

In this permanent role, you will have the opportunity to consolidate and expand your acute nursing skills while caring for a diverse patient cohort. You will also have the unique opportunity to undertake upskilling in Transition Speciality ProgramTSP Cardiac Care, providing valuable career development and exposure to specialised cardiac nursing.

This dynamic unit comprises a 15-bed Neurosciences Ward and an 8-bed Coronary Care Unit (CCU), providing care for a diverse range of neurology and cardiac patients. As part of this role, you will work within a highly skilled, supportive, and welcoming team committed to delivering excellence in patient care.

You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible clinical outcomes and patient experiences. This position offers an excellent opportunity to broaden your clinical expertise while contributing to a culture of professionalism, compassion, and continuous improvement.

• Providing high quality nursing care and experience to patients

To be successful in this role:

You are a patient-centred nurse within an interest in neurosciences. You enjoy collaborating with team members to support the development and growth of the service. In addition to this, you are a critical thinker and keep up-to-date with best practices in nursing care. You are safety conscious and are not shy in speaking up for safety.

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses – AUD $85,732- $107,669 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).

It is a condition of employment with Epworth HealthCare, subject to reasonable exemptions, that you have had an annual Influenza vaccination, where this is required under Epworth policy.

As a child safe organisation, all successful applicants are required to satisfactorily clear a National Police Check (conducted by Epworth) and may be required to hold a valid employee Working with Children Check (provided by you).
