Job summary

Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a permanent full-time role, delivering high-quality aged care across our residential and in-home services. This position is 76 hours per fortnight with a rotating roster including mornings, afternoons and night shifts.

You will conduct holistic assessments, develop care plans, participate in clinical decision-making and mentor care staff while upholding safety and patient-centred practice.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with demonstrated Aged Care/Hospital experience.
• Ability to work a rotating roster including morning, afternoon and night duties.
• Effective communication with residents and families in a compassionate manner.
• Understanding of ANACC, including charting, assessments and documentation.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated Aged Care/Hospital experience
• Availability to work a rotating roster which includes morning, afternoon and night duties
• Ability to communicate effectively and patiently with a range of Residents with a variety of health issues
• A genuine enthusiasm, care and compassion in your commitment to working with older people
• Understanding of ANACC, including charting, assessments, documentation and funding submissions
• You are a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who endeavors to provide safe and effective direct nursing care in line with nursing best practice principles.
