Qualifikationen

• Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (essential).
• Experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in aged care.
• Experience in a multidisciplinary team in aged care.
• Knowledge of accreditation standards in aged care.
• Ability to lead, delegate, and contribute to positive care outcomes.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills.

Aufgaben

• In conjunction with the Clinical Manager, provide clinical leadership to care staff to ensure safe, effective care interventions.
• In conjunction with staff, plan and communicate care based on comprehensive assessments.
• Ensure positive care recipient outcomes in line with plans and safe practices.
• Provide person-centred individual care reflecting dignity and privacy.
• Monitor residents' condition and report changes to stakeholders.
• Implement initiatives to improve care quality and life outcomes.
• Act as a care recipient advocate for informed decisions.
• Assist with funding claim documentation as required.
• Hand over care issues at change of shift with other RNs.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect at all times.
• Ensure safe medication management, infection control and WHS practices.
• Participate in accreditation audits and ensure compliance.
