Job summary

Icon Group's Icon Cancer Centre Revesby is seeking a dedicated nurse to join our multidisciplinary team caring for day hospital and radiation therapy patients. You will administer chemotherapy, manage IV therapy, and support patients through their treatment journey with empathy.

The role requires AHPRA registration and oncology nursing experience, with strong communication, teamwork, and EMR proficiency. Permanent roles are available with Monday–Friday shifts, no weekends.

• Registration with AHPRA and oncology nursing experience.
• Experience in chemotherapy administration, IV cannulation, and CVAD management.
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with a can-do attitude.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and high-acuity care.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high-quality care in Day Hospital and Radiation Therapy departments.
• Administer medications, chemotherapy, and IV infusions.

• Support doctors during procedures and ensure pre- and post-procedure care.

What You'll Do

As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in delivering outstanding care across our Day Hospital and Radiation Therapy departments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Administering medications, chemotherapy, and intravenous infusions.
• Providing patient assessment, education, and care for central access devices.
• Managing the complex needs of patients undergoing radiation therapy.
• Supporting doctors during procedures and ensuring optimal pre- and post-procedure care.
• Offering emotional support to patients and their loved ones during challenging times.
