Job summary

BlueCare in Cairns is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our state-wide palliative care team, delivering end-of-life care in clients' homes. Casual roles with strong clinical support and opportunities to grow in palliative care.

Based across Cairns/Tableland, you will travel to communities, supported by palliative care and BlueCare teams, striving to provide the highest standard of care in the home.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse Licence and Registration Certificate in the employing State.
• Hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree or an equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrate mid to senior level nursing proficiency and a person-centred approach.
• Experience or ongoing pursuit of palliative care, pain management or acute care qualifications valued.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients and stakeholders.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to travel rural/remote Queensland.

Your part in the team

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse with all levels of experience to join our rapidly growing team to provide high-quality end-of-life care to clients and their families on a casual basis.

BlueCare’s specialised palliative care services is growing throughout Queensland. Joining our team, you will be at the forefront of BlueCare’s transformative journey to expand palliative care services across the state. This unique opportunity offers:

What makes a difference for us
