Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service's Child and Family Health (CAFH) service supports children and families across regional, rural and coastal communities throughout Central Queensland. CAFH is a child-centred, family-focused service providing health promotion, education, child health and development surveillance, early identification of family needs and risks, early intervention and care coordination. The service works in partnership with families to promote responsive parenting, strengthen family relationships and support the emotional wellbeing and healthy development of children. Support is delivered across a range of settings, including family homes, community clinics, hospitals, schools and other community locations.
