Job summary

BlueCare in Queensland is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide person-centred community care across Macleay and Russell Islands and surrounding areas, delivering safe, quality nursing on the road with planned home visits.

You will hold full AHPRA registration, a current Australian driver's licence, and a suitable vehicle; join a not-for-profit employer offering salary packaging, travel/mileage reimbursements, staff discounts and generous parental leave.

Registered Nurse | BlueCare | Community Care Employment Status: Permanent Part Time Location: Macleay & Russell Islands & Surrounding Areas Remuneration: $45.29 - $57.06 + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts Classification: QRN1.1 – QRN1.7 determined by demonstrated clinical hours and experience

About the role

As a Registered Nurse you will provide person-centred care to your clients in the community, ensuring a safe environment and applying your clinical skills to improving their quality of life through activities that include:

  • Assess, plan and implement client care within your scope

  • Ensure clinical quality compliance standards are met

Role requirements
  • Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration and unlimited work entitlements - Essential
  • General nursing experience, post-registration
  • Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
  • Roadworthy & insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle to use for work- Essential
  • Confidence in managing your time effectively, including an ability to work autonomously.
  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies
