Job summary

ForHealth Group in Maroochydore is hiring a casual Registered Nurse to join our team of clinicians delivering patient-focused care across our network. You’ll work alongside experienced nurses and GPs in a collaborative, supportive environment.

Key duties include immunisations, patient education, wound care, assisting with minor procedures, triage of emergencies, and contributing to a positive practice culture.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse.
• Experience in General Practice or acute care setting.
• Strong time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administering immunisations and monitoring post-vaccine observations.
• Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations.
• Support GPs with minor surgical procedures.
• Wound care, dressings, and suture removal.
• Provide patient education and contribute to team culture.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in a wide variety of clinical tasks including, but not limited to:

• Administering immunisations and managing post-vaccine observations
• Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations
• Supporting GPs with minor surgical procedures
• Wound care, including dressings and suture removal
• Providing patient education and coaching to support health outcomes
• Contributing to a positive, respectful, and team-oriented practice culture

About You

We’relooking for nurses who are passionate about patient care and committed to working as part of a collaborative clinical team.You’llbring:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled or Registered Nurse
• Previousexperience in General Practice or an acute care setting
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A warm, patient-focused attitude and a team-first approach
