Job summary

Woy Woy Family Practice on the Central Coast NSW is seeking a casual Registered Nurse to join our supportive GP team. You will assist doctors with clinical procedures, help complete care plans and patient assessments, and support patients through their health care recovery to reach their goals.

You’ll receive dedicated orientation and online compliance training, access to our Practice Manager guidance, and a range of staff benefits including professional development leave and flexible

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• RN qualifications and credentials as a Nurse.
• Experience in General Practice or Medical Centre is preferred.
• Immunisation experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with practice management software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support doctors with clinical procedures.
• Complete care plans and patient assessments.

About the role:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a CASUAL POSITION. Upon commencement you will receive a dedicated training program that includes a full orientation and induction, online compliance training, and support from your Practice Manager and colleagues. We ensure that you have the necessary skills and training to provide consistent and quality care to our patients at the highest level.

The role is focused on supporting our doctors with clinical procedures, and in providing the highest quality experience for our patients, from completing care plans and assessments to the management of their health care recovery to meet their overall health goals.

About you:

• Current unrestricted Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA.
• Registered Nurse (RN) qualifications.
• Previous Medical Centre experience in General Practice (preferred).
• Previous experience in Immunisations (preferred).
• Experience in Best Practice (not essential).
• Intermediate computer knowledge and skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, work autonomously, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to best practice, ethical behaviour and conduct.
