Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in aged care or similar clinical setting.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and leadership.
• Ability to work independently, including night shifts.
• Current National Police Check, First Aid and Manual Handling certificates.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred, evidence-based nursing care.
• Monitor residents' health and respond to clinical needs on night/morning shifts.
• Administer medications, wound care, and accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide leadership and oversee care staff on shift.
• Mentor Care Workers to ensure best-practice standards.
• Maintain a safe, respectful environment for residents.
• Communicate with families and external health professionals.

About Your Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality clinical care while supporting older people's dignity, comfort, and wellbeing.

In This Role, You Will

• Deliver person-centred, evidence-based nursing care
• Monitor residents' health and respond to clinical needs during night and morning shifts
• Administer medications, manage wound care, and complete accurate clinical documentation
• Provide leadership and clinical oversight to care staff on shift
• Support and mentor Care Workers to ensure best practice standards are maintained
• Foster a safe, calm, and respectful environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and external health professionals
• Collaborate with the broader clinical team to support holistic care planning

What You'll Bring

Essential

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous experience in aged care or a similar clinical setting
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and leadership skills
• Commitment to respectful, person-centred care
• Ability to work independently, particularly during night duty
• Current National Police Check, First Aid, and Manual Handling certificates

Desirable

• Italian language skills (advantageous, not essential)
