Job summary

Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking compassionate and skilled nurses to join our team on a permanent part-time basis. You can work from just a few shifts a week up to 5 shifts a week and have work-life balance.

Weekend shifts available with penalty rates. As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver high-quality clinical care, lead a wing team, manage medications, and support continuous quality improvement aligned with Aged Care Standards.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing completed qualification.
• A current National Police Check.
• Strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to compassionate, person-centered care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants within your wing.
• Assessing, planning, and implementing individualised care plans.
• Managing medications and wound care in line with best practices.
• Ensuring compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and infection control guidelines.
• Collaborating with allied health professionals and families to ensure holistic care.
• Supporting continuous improvement and quality assurance programs.
