Job summary

Serco at Keswick Health Centre in Adelaide is seeking a Registered Nurse for a three-day-a-week role to deliver high-quality primary healthcare to Defence personnel.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, maintain AHPRA registration, provide health assessments, vaccinations and support injury recovery, with access to CPD and wellbeing programs.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009).
• Commitment to ongoing CPD and ethical patient-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations, or monitor/manage patients in a low-dependency ward.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of GPs, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals.
• Support Defence members in injury recovery, chronic condition management and preventative care.

About The Keswick Health Centre

Established in 1913, Keswick Barracks is home to MARS (Metropolitan Adelaide & Regional Sites) headquarters, as well as the Army Museum of South Australia (AMOSA) which was established in 1992 to collect and preserve military history. Located just outside the CBD, Keswick clinic is small providing primary medical, nursing, dental and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours for the Clinic are 08:00 – 16:00, Monday – Friday, MARS is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (nurses only).

What You’ll Do

• Deliver high-quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals
• Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care

What You Bring

• Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
• Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care
