Job summary

Mercy Hospital for Women Heidelberg is inviting applications for Pool Midwife roles across the Maternity and specialised areas. We offer a supportive, collaborative team, with shifts in Birth Suites, Postnatal/antenatal wards, fetal monitoring, and ED as part of a public specialist teaching hospital network.

We welcome applicants with 12 months of maternity experience and a passion for family-centered care. Evidence of police/working with children checks and vaccination status will be requested.

Qualifications

• 12 months minimum recent experience in maternity services as a registered midwife.
• Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills.
• Compassionate, flexible and positive approach to patient care and management.
• Ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Play an integral role in a motivated clinical team with a family-centered care approach.

About the opportunity

Join Mercy Hospital for Women as a Pool Midwife and work across a variety of Maternity and specialist areas and be part of our collaborative and dynamic team. Mercy Hospital for Women is a public Specialist Teaching Hospital in Heidelberg. You will play an integral role whilst working in motivated clinical teams. Shifts would be based in Birth Suites, Post-Natal / Antenatal wards, Fetal Monitoring, Outpatients, HDU, and the Emergency Department. Education support will be provided, and you will:

• Play an integral role in a motivated clinical team with a family-centered care approach
• Provide best-practice patient care as a member of the multidisciplinary team
• Full time and part-time positions available
