Job summary

Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service is seeking a Registered Midwife for Rockhampton Hospital to deliver high-quality maternity care across a regional referral service. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and have opportunities to broaden skills in waterbirth, triage, postnatal care, and remote communities.

Current registration and a practicing certificate are mandatory; dual RN/RM is preferred. Relocation assistance and ongoing professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Midwife and a practising certificate are mandatory.
• Dual RN/Registered Midwife registration is preferred.
• Ability to work to full scope of midwifery practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate safe, high-quality maternity care.
• Support delegation and supervision of Enrolled Nurses and Assistants in Nursing.
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care.
