Job summary

South Western Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Registered Midwife to rotate across the Birth Unit, Antenatal Clinic, Antenatal Ward and Postnatal Ward at Liverpool Hospital. The role offers permanent full- or part-time hours (32–38 per week) with attractive salary packaging and superannuation.

We value evidence-based care, patient-centred support, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams to optimise outcomes for women and newborns.

Qualifications

• Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Midwife with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated evidence-based midwifery care.
• Ability to work in a rotating maternity service.

Responsibilities

• Provide care across pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum.
• Support births independently with woman-centred care.
• Care for newborns and early postnatal needs.
• Rotate through Birthing Unit, Postnatal Ward, Antenatal Ward and Clinic.
