The ROLE
  • Oversee multiple workshops across Tasmania and Queensland.
  • Lead, motivate and mentor Workshop Supervisors and technical teams.
  • Ensure all workshops operate to high standards of safety compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and manage preventative maintenance programs to maximise the efficiency and reliability of our fleet.
  • Oversee KPIs budgets and productivity to improve cost effectiveness across all workshops.
  • Key stakeholder engagement with a solid customer focused approach for both internal & external customers.
  • Ensure commercial targets are within budget and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
  • Promote and support a safety culture that effectively manages risks in line with company’s policies and procedures whilst achieving continuous improvement.
About YOU
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a senior leadership role within a workshop environment or related area.
  • Ability to review data trends and drive performance improvements.
  • Strong influencing negotiation and management skills including the ability to advocate change and win over resistance.
  • Sound knowledge of plant and equipment typically associated with heavy industry applications.
  • Highly developed communication skills both written and verbal to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exposure to a diverse range of mobile assets typically associated with the heavy mechanical industry.
  • Relevant industry qualifications to provide support to the wider teams.
