Job summary

Queensland Rail currently has a permanent vacancy for an experienced Project Manager to join our Regional Project Delivery team based in Brisbane CBD. You will provide project management services across projects statewide, leading multidisciplinary teams and external contractors to deliver safe, on-time, on-budget outcomes.

You will develop funding submissions, schedules and cash flows, manage risks, engage stakeholders and ensure governance alignment with Queensland Rail standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability in applying project management methodologies within multidisciplinary environments.
• Experience delivering complex projects through internal teams and external contractors.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, consulting and negotiating with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex project delivery with coordinated teams, ensuring time, cost and quality outcomes.
• Develop funding submissions and project plans, including schedules, cost plans and cash flows.
• Establish resource needs and procurement strategies, engage service providers and work with Contracts and Design teams.
• Oversee project execution across all providers, manage risks, report progress and finalize via asset transfer and governance.
