Mediix is partnering with a well-established regional public hospital in NSW on the NSW–ACT border to offer a Staff Specialist or Visiting Medical Officer role in Obstetrics & Gynaecology. The position supports multiple appointment types and an on-call roster, with opportunities for leadership and teaching within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Specialist registrar with obstetrics and gynaecology expertise.
• Commitment to teaching, CPD and quality improvement.
• Strong communication and IT skills as part of multidisciplinary care.
• Ability to lead and work within a regional hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide core obstetric and gynaecological care across antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal periods.
• Lead in patient care within a multidisciplinary team and ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in on-call roster with on-site response.
• Contribute to teaching, supervision of junior medical staff and governance activities.
