Job summary

Tumut Veterinary Clinic is a family-friendly, privately owned mixed practice that has proudly serviced the region for over 38 years. Our team consists of two experienced veterinarians, providing excellent support and mentorship, particularly for new and recent graduates.

Small animal work makes up ~70% and large animal ~30% of cases, with on-call duties (1 in 4 weekends and 1 night per week). Salary ranges from $90,000 to $130,000 plus super, plus four weeks' annual leave, generous CPD, study

Qualifications

• NSW registration eligible and welcome experience.

Responsibilities

• Small animal work includes routine consultations and surgery, trauma and wound repair, abdominal surgery, emergency caesareans, and orthopaedics.
• Large animal work includes pregnancy testing (cattle and equine using ultrasound), herd health management, pestivirus testing, calvings/lambings, disease investigation, individual animal diagnostics, equine dentistry, colt castration, colics, and wound management.
• Ongoing in-house workups using IDEXX, with laboratory referrals when required.
