Job summary

Cummins in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Manager to lead HSE across 12 sites in Queensland, PNG and NZ, based at Carole Park, Brisbane. The role sits on the senior leadership team, driving Safe Systems of Work and continuous improvement.

You will build strong cross-functional relationships, manage risk, and lead incident response, rehabilitation and return-to-work programs while travelling up to 25% and ensuring compliance with WHS legislation and Cummins

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Occupational Health and Safety or related field.
• Strong knowledge of WHS legislation, standards and codes of practice.
• Proven experience as an HSE Manager or similar across multi-site/regions.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to multi sites across Northern Region – 12 branches across Queensland, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
• Build strong relationships to drive a robust HSE culture and continuous improvement.
• Lead risk management, incident resolution, and corrective actions across sites.
• Support auditing programs and site training, communications and governance.
• Drive return-to-work programs, rehabilitation and workers' compensation matters.
