Job summary

Tribe Rural Services is seeking an experienced HR Truck Driver to join its transport and delivery operation servicing Melbourne and North East Victoria. This hands-on role involves loading, transporting and unloading freight, and representing the company professionally with customers.

Typical week includes Melbourne runs with early starts, long hours, and regional deliveries across Albury-Wodonga and surrounding areas. Overtime and penalties apply; Saturday work is optional.

Qualifications

• Must have a current HR Driver Licence.
• Experience driving heavy vehicles with a good driving record.
• Physically fit and able to load/unload freight.
• Reliable with early starts and punctual.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HR vehicle in accordance with transport requirements.
• Complete scheduled metropolitan and regional pickups and deliveries.
• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Assist with movement and handling of stock at depots and customer sites.
• Check loads and ensure freight is secured.
• Complete delivery documentation and obtain customer acknowledgments.
• Liaise professionally with customers during pickups and deliveries.
• Ensure deliveries are completed on time.
• Conduct vehicle checks and report safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe and presentable vehicle.
• Represent Tribe Rural Services professionally at all times.
