Job summary

Travel Associates is seeking a Regional General Manager to lead the regional retail network’s performance, with base in Sydney or Melbourne. You will drive brand strategy, profitability, market share and customer outcomes while mentoring Business Leaders to achieve exceptional results.

As the Regional General Manager, you will lead the operational excellence, sales performance, and growth of a high-performing retail network across your region. You will play a critical role in bringing brand strategy to life, driving profitability, market share, and customer outcomes while leading a team of Business Leaders to achieve exceptional results.

This is a highly influential leadership opportunity where you will champion culture, develop future leaders, and drive meaningful business transformation. This role can be based out of our Sydney or Melbourne Head Office.

Day to day:

  • Lead and execute the brand and business strategy across the regional retail network, driving sales growth, market share, and operational excellence
  • Oversee regional business performance, including profitability, productivity, budgeting, forecasting, and achievement of key commercial KPIs
  • Manage day-to-day retail operations, workforce planning, compliance, and resource allocation to ensure efficient network performance
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Business Leaders, fostering a high-performance culture, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership capability
  • Drive exceptional client experiences through sales coaching, premium client engagement, database growth strategies, and management of escalated client matters
  • Lead and embed change initiatives across the region, ensuring successful adoption of projects, business improvements, and strategic priorities
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while identifying and delivering growth opportunities across the network

You'll be perfect for the role if you have:

  • 8–10 years’ experience in the travel industry
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership of a high-performance culture or area
  • Proven track record in achieving targets and demonstrated success in both transformation and operational KPIs
  • Coaching and development experience
  • Understanding of premium and luxury brands
  • Experience in team management, leading a network of Business Leaders and their teams
