Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking a Visiting Medical Officer or Staff Specialist (Permanent Part-Time) to deliver gastroenterology and hepatology services at Lismore Base Hospital and associated facilities. The role includes clinical leadership and teaching across departments, with flexible appointments and a focus on quality care in the Northern Rivers region.

Formación

• Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist.
• Current Colonoscopy and Gastroscopy certification or recertification.
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the role delineation of the service.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Provide contemporary Gastroenterology and Hepatology services at the primary facility and other facilities as needed.
• Offer clinical leadership and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines.
