Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking a Regional Engineer for NSW to act as the key engineering contact for the region, supporting asset performance, maintenance activities and improvement initiatives within a long-term Defence contract. This role emphasises solving operational problems, building relationships and driving better outcomes across multiple teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Process, Electrical or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in project engineering, operations engineering or asset management environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Australian Citizenship and ability to pass a police check.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering investigations and root cause analysis.
• Scope of work, review technical solutions and assess risk.
• Identify opportunities to improve asset management and maintenance.
• Develop business cases and present improvement initiatives to the client.
• Influence decisions and drive implementation of ideas in Defence environments.
