Job summary

Northeast Health Wangaratta seeks 2 ACEM trainees (TS2/3) for a 6‑month core Emergency term and 6‑months in our ICU in 2027. The Emergency term is accredited under ACEM’s Blended Supervision Program with a local supervisor at NHW and a DEMT based in Melbourne.

The ICU rotation is currently ACEM‑accredited as non‑ED time, with potential changes under review. The ED handles a busy regional caseload including trauma and paediatrics.

Qualifications

• ACEM training in TS2/3.
• Experience in a busy regional Emergency Department.
• Exposure to paediatric cases and resuscitation.

Responsibilities

• Complete 6 months of core Emergency term.
• Complete 6 months in ICU rotation.
• Work under local NHW supervision with ACEM oversight.
