Job summary

Sante Recruitment is seeking an Emergency Medicine Consultant for a major regional referral hospital in Victoria. This permanent role offers full-time, part-time or fixed-term opportunities, with a focus on education, innovation and high-quality patient care in a modern ED 90 minutes from Melbourne.

Qualifications

• FACEM with Specialist Registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA.
• Australian or New Zealand Emergency Medicine trainees obtaining FACEM within 6 months.
• International Emergency Medicine Specialists eligible via Competent Authority Pathway (UK, Ireland, NZ, Canada or USA).
• International Medical Graduates assessed by ACEM as Substantially Comparable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care in a busy ED.
• Participate in teaching and multidisciplinary M&M meetings.
• Lead clinical governance and education initiatives within the department.
