ARRCS is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to join our aged care facility in Katherine, Northern Territory. You will provide clinical care and lead a team, mentoring less-experienced staff to deliver high-quality, people-centred care in alignment with ARRCS mission.

The package includes an exclusive nurse rate, relocation and furnished shared accommodation, access to salary sacrifice benefits, and overtime/shift allowances. AHPRA registration and 12 months RN experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.

• A minimum of 12 months experience working as a Registered Nurse in an Australian health service (geriatric/aged care preferred).
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices.
• Experience in multidisciplinary and multicultural care teams.
• Preference for experience in Indigenous Australian communities or remote areas.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to meet mandatory compliance requirements.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to high-quality care for elderly residents.

Job Description

About the role

ARRCS are currently sourcing qualified and experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to support our elderly residents within our Aged Care Facility Rocky Ridge Nursing Home, located in Katherine, Northern Territory.

This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis and are residential roles, requiring you to relocate to Katherine, Northern Territory with relocation and furnished, shared accommodation included in your remuneration package.

This role will see you providing clinical care to our residents whilst also providing team leadership, supervision and support for less experienced workers to achieve people focused quality care in-line with our ARRCS mission. Remuneration and benefits of working with ARRCS:

ARRCS are offering an exclusive package for skilled Registered Nurses to join our team in Katherine, below is what our package includes:

• Penalty driven hourly rate of an Aged Care Registered Nurse Level 2 - (AM rate) $51.26 / hour - $53.84 / hour ($101,300 - $106,400 PA) gross base.
• Exclusive $20,000 PA bonus structure for your first 12 months of employment. (conditions apply).
• $10,000 gross (pro-rata for PT) less tax upon successful completion of probation.
• $10,000 gross (pro-rata for PT) less tax payable after completion of a further 6 consecutive months service.
• Fully furnished and subsidized (utilities) shared accommodation included in your remuneration package.

Skills and experience

To be considered for this role, we are asking all applicants to provide evidence of the following skills and experience:

• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
• Working Rights for Australia – This package is not offered on a sponsorship basis.
• A minimum of 12 months experience working as a Registered Nurse to qualify for the bonus (in addition to graduate placements) within an Australian health service – With preference within a geriatric or aged care environment however, not essential.
• Knowledge of contemporary nursing practices.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary and multi-cultural care team.
• Preferably prior experience working with Indigenous Australian’s and or working in remote areas of Australia.
• Demonstrates effective and clear written and verbal communication skills, including intermediate computer skills.
• Ability to meet and obtain mandatory compliance requirements.
• Demonstrates and has references that indicate you are a proactive and supportive colleague, you have strong work ethic and, understands that the ultimate requirement is to ensure the highest quality of care is delivered to our elderly residents.
