Job summary

HammondCare is seeking a Regional Manager to lead the Dementia Support Australia (DSA) service, ensuring high-quality, mission-aligned care across state offices. You will supervise governance, engage with government and aged care leaders, and drive partnerships while managing stakeholder relations and service delivery improvements.

The role requires senior multi-site experience, budgeting, and strong communication skills, with travel across states expected to support start-up and ongoing

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Nursing / Allied Health or Health-related degree.
• Eligibility for registration as a Health Practitioner in Australia (AHPRA).
• Experience supporting older people and carers living with dementia; psycho-social case management.
• Senior level experience in multi-disciplinary or multi-site environment incl. budgeting, systems thinking, IT systems.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills; interpersonal abilities.
• Willingness to travel intra and interstate, possibly monthly.
• Excellent planning, organising, attention to detail, and IT competence.
• Customer management skills for service delivery to HammondCare and external customers.
• Independent and team-oriented work approach.
• Empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the DSA service aligned with HammondCare’s Mission and Action.
• Establish clinical supervision, governance and behaviour management systems within a national team.
• Ensure admin, financial, risk, quality and reporting goals are met with a team-based approach.
• Engage with State Government and aged care/hospital leadership to secure partnerships.
• Support Team Leaders with stakeholder engagement at the service level.
• Help develop strategic state plans and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
• Motivate the delivery team to stay service and mission-aligned.
• Lead data management and ICT platforms to support delivery.
• Maintain high service quality through governance and supervision.
• Provide line management and clinical governance to DSA.
